Broken is a Choice

One day, I decided I didn’t want to feel or be this way any longer, so I changed. But how do you change years of repetitive dysfunctional behavior? Well, you copy Jesus. I’m not perfect like Jesus, nor will I ever be perfect. I am flawed, I sin, and I make mistakes, but I will always get back up and try again. Why? Because living a flawed life striving to better myself and heal the parts of me that are damaged is far better than the life I was living. Staying broken was my choice for far too long, until I chose to change. Change your mindset, change your life!

"This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”  -- 2 Corinthians 5:17

About The Author

I grew up in a small town in West Virginia and later attended West Virginia University. I spent thirteen years in Corporate America and left on a leap of faith in 2019 to help my husband Dave run our pest control company, Freedom Pest Services.

We live in York, SC with our two dogs, Hulk and Domino. I have two adult bonus children, Peyton and Logan. In my spare time, I lead a women’s group through my church, called 'Women Recovering Life with God'. Walking alongside women, to encourage growth and change with God, is my passion and purpose.
